Lexus Reveals Several EV Concepts and Aims to Be All Electric By 2035

Lexus has started to produce electric vehicle concepts in order to be ready to go all-electric in 2035. This includes quite a few options, such as two hatchback designs, an SUV, a compact sedan, a convertible, and a supercar for starters.

EVs for Lexus

Some people had previously given Lexus and Toyota a hard time for not risking into electric vehicles previously, the actual president of Toyota, and grandson of the founder, personally outlined future plans for Lexus.

On top of the first battery-electric crossover, Toyota will now be increasing their EV lineup significantly to get to producing EV options only in over a decade from now. There’s going to be a sports car coupe named Electrified Sport for now with convertible options. There will also be a compact sedan that may have many variants.

They will also be producing a sports super can that will be an EV. This EV option should have a 0 to 62 MPH rating of just over 2 seconds. It will have a huge range of over 430 miles on one charge. This should be possible due to the solid-state battery technology that Lexus will be using. This is still speculative for now, but it should be made more solid over time.

There will also be an “electrified SUV” coming out for Lexus. There isn’t much information known about this option, for now, it appears it will be a crossover SUV with two rows. The rumor is that it will have a “Z” in the name.

The priority for Lexus is going to be luxury versions of electric vehicles since this is what Lexus is known for. So, people who are excited about both electric vehicles and Lexus will have a lot to look forward to in the coming years as it approaches 2035. It’s likely that Lexus will add even more vehicles with even more variety during that time period.
