Lexus Celebrates Design at NYCxDESIGN Festival with Ambiance Installation

Lexus recently joined the NYCxDESIGN festival with its Ambiance display, a special exhibit highlighting the brand’s most celebrated design schemes.

About Lexus Ambiance

Lexus Ambiance is a unique display that the automaker debuted at the NYCxDESIGN festival in May 2025. The display was stationed at the Hudson Yards Public Square and Gardens, which is renowned for its impressive public art and design displays. The automaker’s display at this year’s NYCxDESIGN show included a series of interactive elements, and it also featured the automaker’s cutting-edge design schemes. The Lexus Ambiance display also featured the work of artist Nick Thomm. Thomm’s design schemes feature innovative style and expressive designs that use vivid light for a bold and contemporary look.

Lexus LC 500

At NYCxDESIGN, Lexus featured several of its popular cars to show off its contemporary design schemes and highlight the visual impact of its vehicles. One Lexus car that was featured at the show was the Lexus LC 500. The LC 500 is a striking convertible that was designed by Nick Thomm. Outside, the LC 500 has an exceptionally beautiful design that is both athletic and elegant. Inside, the convertible has a meticulous cabin of quality materials that exude luxury from front to back. To highlight the convertible even more, Lexus designed a display putting the convertible against a stunning backdrop of lights.

Lexus GX 550

Lexus also featured the GX 550 at the NYCxDESIGN event. This large luxury SUV with three rows of seats is a top-rated luxury SUV with a bold design, an athletic build, and plenty of off-road capabilities. It also has an exquisite cabin and was placed in a vivid light display.
