Lexus Partners with Black Panther

Recently, it was announced that Marvel and Black Panther are partners with Lexus on a new commercial. This is the third time that they’re going to do that. Along with the movie, they are also announcing their first fully electric vehicle, which is called the RZ 450e.

The ad exists within the Marvel Universe and has the character General Okoye, a member of the all-female Royal Guard. The spot features Okoyoe and others driving away from people chasing them. They are in the Lexus RZ 450e.

This vehicle was first unveiled in April. The electric motors exist near both the axles in the front and the axles in the back. This gives the vehicle a fast acceleration of 0 to 62 miles per hour in just over five and a half seconds. The top speed is 99 miles per hour. The vice president of marketing says that their continuing collaboration with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is to the next level.

These vehicles from Lexus will feature prominently in the production. They said that featuring these Lexus vehicles in the futuristic world of Wakanda makes a lot of sense because Lexus vehicles have a futuristic feeling to them in many circumstances as well. They view their fully-electric Lexus vehicle as one the most advanced vehicles ever, so the idea is that it fits right into the world of Wakanda.

The new movie will come out in November, and the Wakanda commercial from Lexus about Wakanda will be playing in many places between now and then. The director said that for the commercial, the idea is that the vehicle is the star. That’s how he treats his vehicles when they are in frame. They may exist within the world of Wakanda, but they still exist as the star of the show as their kind of character. Rather than any of the human characters, it’s the car that steals the show.
