Three different powertrains are available for the 2021 Lexus IS. A turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 241 horsepower comes standard. Meanwhile, the IS 300 AWD uses a 260-horsepower V6 engine. To experience especially strong acceleration, step up to the IS 350’s V6 engine. It pushes out an exciting 311 horsepower. While all-wheel-drive versions of the IS feature a six-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel-drive models come equipped with an eight-speed automatic.
