What’s New for the 2022 Lexus LC?

Rolling on a rear-wheel drive, the 2022 Lexus LC is one of the most luxurious coupes in North America. This four-seat model is available in gorgeous exterior colors, including Flare Yellow, Cadmium Orange, and Nori Green Pearl. The optional Sport Package is a major improvement to the lineup compared to the previous year.

2022 LC Trims & Features

Taking a base position on the roster, the 2022 LC 500 model is packed with premium exterior features. This lavish coupe includes flush door handles with approach lighting. A glass roof with a sunshade is another upscale installation on this athletic car. You’ll find an array of high-tech goods inside the racing-style cockpit, such as a 10.3-inch LCD touch screen and color head-up display. Having an 8.0-inch field of view, a performance-inspired instrumentation cluster is another unique installation inside the entry-level model. Some standard connectivity features inside the LC 500 trim include the Lexus Enform Remote and Wi-Fi. The LC 500h could be equipped with a limited-slip rear differential from Torsen. This hybrid model is fitted with 21-inch staggered wheels and run-flat summer tires. The high-tier LC 500 Convertible has aluminum pedals, a power soft-top, and rear-mounted speakers.

2022 Lexus LC Horsepower

The 2022 Lexus LC 500 harnesses up to 471 net horsepower from a 5.0-liter engine block. This naturally aspirated powerhouse twists out a maximum of 398 pound-feet of torque. Exploiting the VVT-i design, the V-8 powertrain delivers a great combination of efficiency and power. Built on the most recent Direct-Shift architecture, a 10-speed automatic transmission is paired with the 32-valve engine. This high-end coupe is available with the trademark Lexus Multistage Drive Hybrid system that has a peak output of 354 hp. You can select the EV Mode for this hybrid unit, which includes a high-output electric motor. An electronically controlled CVT system is mated to the hybrid powerplant. Both gearboxes may be engaged through magnesium paddle shifters.

Lexus LC Safety

The 2022 Lexus LC exits the assembly facility with the latest Lexus Safety System+ technologies. Eight airbags are standard on the base model and hybrid trim. Active roll bars and six airbags are installed on the convertible edition. All models have the Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
