What’s New for the 2022 Lexus UX?

The 2022 Lexus UX has a few minor updates that mostly impact its appearance. Several new paint colors are available for the UX in 2022, including Cloudburst Gray and Grecian Water. You can also get a snazzy new orange paint shade as well. The Lexus UX now also has fenders with special color schemes if you get the Premium, F Sport, or Luxury trim levels. These changes affect both the 200 and 250 versions of the Lexus UX, which otherwise carries over as a popular, stylish hybrid SUV with a distinctive coupe-like body design. The Lexus UX continues to offer an appealing package of luxury and efficiency this year, and you can get two powertrains for your Lexus, depending on the UX trim that you prefer.

2022 UX Trims & Features

The Lexus UX 200 and 250h both come in three trim levels. For the 200, you can get the base, F Sport, or the Luxury. The three trims use the same engine, but they have different interior amenities. The base trim level has alloy wheels that are 18 inches in size and LED headlights. Its luxurious interior includes a WiFi hotspot and a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Simulated leather seats are standard, and you will get power-adjustable seats on all trim levels. Dual-zone climate control is also standard. The second trim level builds on the first trim’s amenities with automatic wipers and a sunroof. It has heated front seats and a sporty theme with sporty front seats and a sport-tuned suspension system. Steering wheel-mounted controls are also included. The Luxury trim level gets sound-dampening glass on the sides and illuminated air vents. The 250h pairs an even higher-efficiency version of the 2.0-liter gas engine with a fourth-generation hybrid drive system engineered specifically for this platform with standard WiFi, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and six speakers. The next trim adds LED fog lights and a sport-tuned suspension. An upgraded digital gauge cluster and sporty front seats are additional highlights. The Luxury has a hands-free liftgate and sound-reducing windows.

2022 Lexus UX Horsepower

For power, the Lexus UX comes with a four-cylinder engine with a 2.0L displacement. Powered by this engine, the Lexus UX achieves up to 169 HP in total power, and it will get about 150 LB-FT in torque. Front-wheel drive is standard for Lexus’s drivetrain, and it uses an automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional on the 250 model.

Lexus UX Safety

For safety, the 2022 UX comes with forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keep assist.
