To commemorate this legendary sedan’s 25th year on the market, Lexus has introduced a limited-edition Special Appearance model. Based on the IS 500 F Sport Performance Premium, this mode flaunts a head-turning Flare Yellow exterior color, and an exclusive set of 19-inch BBS forged alloy wheels. Furthermore, the IS 300 F Sport and IS 350 F Sport trims benefit from additional standard features. Lexus has added power-folding mirrors with auto-dimming, a power-adjustable steering column, and memory settings for the driver.
Lexus offers the new IS in a total of 11 different trims. The entry-level IS 300 is among the segment’s top values. Some of its standard features include an 8.0-inch touchscreen interface, dual-zone automatic climate control, Smart Access with push-button start, and NuLuxe seating surfaces.
If you need enhanced traction during the winter, opt for the IS 300 AWD. Meanwhile, F-Sport trims are available for drivers who desire a more aggressive look and enhanced handling. Just a sample of the available upgrades includes heated/ventilated seats and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson premium sound system.
The available IS 350 trims pack even more muscle under the hood. For driving enthusiasts who desire maximum thrills, Lexus presents the exhilarating IS 500. Aside from offering blistering acceleration, IS 500 trims also feature an adaptive suspension system and upgraded brakes. Stacked quad exhaust tips further highlight the sedan’s high-performance nature.
IS 300 trims come equipped with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which develops a competitive 241 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Fitted with an advanced V6 engine, the IS 350 trims pack an even more muscular 311 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Atop the performance ladder sits the IS 500’s quick-revving V8 engine. Lexus tunes it to produce a truly exciting 472 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque.
The 2025 Lexus IS puts a big priority on passenger safety. Lexus Safety System+ 2.5* equips the sedan with a full suite of advanced driving aids. While the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection can automatically bring you to a stop, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control reduces highway driving stress.
