2023 Lexus NX vs 2023 Lexus RX

Luxury SUV buyers have a lot to learn about the 2023 Lexus NX and RX. Both are models made to showcase the prestigious engineering that Lexus is known for. You’ll find a unique design on both models, including different color choices for both the interior and exterior. While the NX is a model defined as “long and wide” by Lexus, the RX is said to “evoke power and grace” with its distinct stance. That’s how Lexus defines the NX and RX. How will you define them?

Performance

There’s a lot to learn about the powertrain lineups for both of these models. The NX starts with a 4-cylinder 203 horsepower engine, and that’s in contrast to the RX’s 275 turbocharged base model engine. The RX gets even more powerful on its 500h F Sport performance AWD trim. Its 366 total horsepower and Direct4 all-wheel drive system deliver excellent performance. The NX also gets more powerful with its 350 AWD turbocharged 4-cylinder engine rated at 275 horsepower. The strongest engine for the NX is a 304-horsepower plug-in hybrid electric powertrain.

Appearance

Each SUV has its own distinct exclusives. The RX is known for its signature spindle grille that reflects the elegance and grace of the model. The NX gets a low center of gravity design that improves aerodynamics and driver/passenger comfort. Those going home in an NX will also get an LED blade tail lamp and up to 21-inch wheels. The RX offers 21-inch rims for a large and in-charge appearance.

Features

On the inside of the NX and RX, you’ll see that all the hard work pays off for both Lexus and you. These designs pay endless attention to detail. The RX features a race-inspired interior on its highest trim level. It gets perforated leather-trimmed sport seating and sports seats with full bolsters. The NX also gets bolstered sports seats but in different colors and designs. Also impressive on the NX is its contoured steering wheel. Lexus went through a lot of trouble designing this wheel to give drivers an “ideal elliptical grip.” Technology’s highest honor in both interiors is a 14-inch multimedia touchscreen display.
