Specs at a Glance
The 2025 Lexus ES remains one of today’s most popular midsize luxury sedans. Drivers rave about the car’s excellent reliability, high level of passenger comfort, and expressive exterior styling. Some drivers will ultimately be choosing between the ES 350 and the ES 300h. Let’s take a glance at how these two models compare.
Performance
The ES 350 is motivated by a robust 3.5-liter, V6 engine. It’s rated to kick out 302 horsepower, which translates to strong acceleration. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels.
To promote enhanced efficiency, Lexus equips the ES 300h with a four-cylinder hybrid powertrain. It generates a combined 215 horsepower. A continuously variable transmission further aids efficiency. Although the ES 300h may not be quite as muscular as the ES 350, it still packs enough performance to keep drivers engaged.
Appearance
The ES 350 and the ES 300h have a similar appearance. They both feature a bold spindle grille and sleek LED headlights. Equipped with exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels and other racy exterior treatments, the available F Sport trims look especially aggressive. Both models give you access to some beautiful paint colors, including Matador Red Mica.
Keep in mind that only the 2025 Lexus ES 350 now offers a Black Line Special Edition trim. Some of the unique exterior treatments include a black rear spoiler, Obsidian Black-painted side mirror caps, and a black lower rocker panel.
Features
Regardless of whether you choose the ES 350 or the ES 300h, look forward to enjoying a luxurious drive. Both models come standard with an 8.0-inch color touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. However, a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen is available. Like the ES 350, the ES 300h excites music lovers by offering a Mark Levinson premium sound system. Other available upgrades include heated/ventilated front seats, a head-up display, and quilted semi-aniline leather upholstery.
