The Lexus GX is fully redesigned in 2024. The GX has a body-on-frame design that gives off-road capabilities and makes it more durable. The GX is powered by a solid and fast V6 engine, and it has a state-of-the-art cabin. The seating has multiple options, and there’s plenty of cargo space.
There are six trims in the 2024 Lexus GX.
The base model is called the Premium. This trim level starts with 20-inch wheels, LED headlights, and power-folding exterior mirrors. A power liftgate and running boards are standard. The seats are covered in synthetic leather and eight-way adjustable. The two front seats are heated and ventilated, and the steering wheel has a cushioned leather finish. The cabin has practical and upscale ambient lighting, and you’ll get a 10-speaker sound system with navigation. The cabin has six USB charging ports and a 120V outlet in the trunk.
The Premium+ adds heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, a hands-free liftgate, a power-folding third row, and a wireless device charger.
With the Luxury, you’ll get upgraded 22-inch wheels, massaging front seats, puddle lights, illuminated doorsills, and a 10-way adjustable driver’s seat.
The Luxury+ adds power running boards, a sunroof with adjustable tints, a 21-speaker sound system, a cooled center console, and a digital rearview mirror.
The Overtrail has 33-inch all-terrain tires, crawl control, downhill assist, roof rails, and multi-terrain select to help with off-road driving. The seating capacity is reduced to five seats, with four USB-C ports.
The Overtrail+ adds a power tailgate with a kick sensor and a power steering wheel. There are massaging front seats and second-row sunshades for this trim.
All models have the same engine, which is a turbo 3.4L V6 engine. The GX’s engine can generate 349 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. It is connected to a 10-speed transmission across the board. The GX has standard four-wheel drive. The GX tows a maximum of 8,000 pounds.
The GX’s standard safety package includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane centering, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, road sign assist, and proactive driving assist.
