This year, the LC received an upgraded Lexus Interface infotainment unit. It brings a beautiful 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity. Parking sensors and larger 21-inch wheels have also been added to the LC’s list of standard equipment. Meanwhile, newly available paint colors include Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 and Copper Crest. There are three styles for you to choose from: LC 500, LC 500h, and LC 500 Convertible. The LC 500 is loaded with a number of premium amenities. Along with the LC’s new infotainment display comes a built-in Panoramic View Monitor, thus allowing you to obtain a 360-degree view outside the car. Other tech features include a performance-inspired digital gauge cluster, an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 12-speaker premium audio system. To ensure superior comfort, Lexus equips the LC with heated and ventilated front sports seats.
The LC 500 Convertible and the hybrid-powered LC 500h are similarly equipped.
There are two advanced powertrains for you to select from. The LC 500 and the LC 500 Convertible are motivated by an exhilarating 5.0-liter V8 engine. It cranks out 471 horsepower, which enables you to enjoy blistering acceleration. A 10-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission enhances your driving experience. Enthusiasts will also love the visceral sound of the active sports exhaust.
The LC 500h uses a Lexus Multistage Hybrid powertrain. It pairs an Atkinson-cycle V6 engine with powerful electric motors. With a combined 354 horsepower on tap, you can enjoy a thrilling drive while saving extra at the pump.
Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 equips the new LC with several advanced driver-assist technologies. Some of the highlights include a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Lane Tracing Assist.
