The Lexus LX returns for the 2025 model year with updated safety technologies. A curve-speed management feature for the adaptive cruise control system, oncoming vehicle detection, and emergency steering assist are all included. Every trim now receives a head-up display as standard equipment. Lexus has upgraded the SUV’s available massaging seats as well. Not only can the intensity of these seats be adjusted, but occupants can also target specific areas of the body. Yet another key change for 2025 is the discontinuation of last year’s base model.
Lexus offers the new LX in three well-equipped trim levels: LX 600 Premium, LX 600 F Sport Handling, and LX 600 Luxury. Designed to accommodate up to seven passengers, the LX 600 Premium promises to deliver a great driving experience. Its adaptive variable suspension helps ensure optimum ride comfort and stability. Creature comforts, such as heated and ventilated front seats, help promote an especially relaxing trip. Other highlights include a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, leather upholstery, a sunroof, and a 10-speaker audio system.
If you desire enhanced agility on the street, check out the LX 600 F Sport Handling. Performance features, such as an exclusive F Sport-tuned suspension and a Torsen limited-slip rear differential, enable you to attack curves with greater confidence. An aerodynamic body kit further sets apart this racier trim. Sport front seats are included as well.
Featuring semi-aniline leather upholstery, the LX 600 Luxury is especially upscale. Some of its upgrades include massaging front seats, a 25-speaker Mark Levinson premium sound system, ventilated second-row seats, and an automated parking system.
Underneath the hood rests a 3.4-liter, twin-turbo V6 engine. It’s rated to develop an impressive 409 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. This powerful engine links to a 10-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission. A capable 4WD system with an electronic locking center differential comes standard, which enables you to confidently explore the great outdoors. Another highlight is the SUV’s 8,000-pound maximum towing capacity.
The LX comes standard with a suite of advanced safety features called Lexus Safety System+ 3.0. Just a few of the features include a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, and Proactive Driving Assist.
