The Lexus TX Hybrid returns for the 2026 model year with minor changes. The 2026 Lexus TX Hybrid introduces minor updates to the three-row luxury SUV, highlighted by a new standard panoramic glass roof on the top-tier 550h+ plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and added modular cupholders for third-row passengers.
There are two available trims: TX 500h F Sport Performance Premium AWD and TX 500h F Sport Performance Luxury AWD. The TX 500h F Sport Performance Premium AWD trim provides more than enough standard equipment to satisfy most drivers. Some of the key highlights include a 14.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and heated/ventilated front seats.
The TX 500h F Sport Performance Luxury AWD offers an even more upscale driving experience. While a 21-speaker Mark Levinson PurePlay surround-sound system captivates music listeners, a panoramic sunroof helps create an especially luxurious atmosphere. Premium leather seating surfaces are included as well.
The SUV’s powertrain combines a turbo inline-four engine with two electric motors. Total output is an impressive 366 horsepower. A six-speed automatic transmission enhances your driving experience. Direct4 all-wheel drive comes standard, thus improving traction when encountering slippery road conditions. You can also take advantage of the TX Hybrid’s 5,000-pound maximum towing capacity.
Both trims benefit from an F Sport-tuned adaptive variable suspension, which promotes exceptionally crisp handling. Rear-wheel steering further enhances the SUV’s overall maneuverability.
A suite of advanced driver-assistance features called Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 comes standard. Some of these confidence-inspiring technologies include a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, and Proactive Driving Assist. An optional Technology package helps alleviate the stress of parking by adding a Panoramic View Monitor and an automated parking system.
